Carlos Edwards set for Wolves loan move

CARLOS EDWARDS is set to join Wolves on loan.

The Trinidad & Tobago winger could complete a three-month loan move to Molineux today.

Edwards has barely figured in Sunderland's first-team this season, making a brief substitute appearance in the opening-day game against Liverpool and then starting the Black Cats' dismal Carling Cup tie against Northampton, although he was taken off at half-time in that match.

Roy Keane has hinted several times that he would consider a loan move for Edwards and is likely to allow him to link up with ex-Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy at Wolves, who are currently top of the Championship.
