Chimbonda wants return to France squad
PASCAL CHIMBONDA hopes his move to Sunderland will re-ignite his international career.
The French defender has won one cap for his country - almost two-and-a-half years ago - but has not figured for Les Bleus since, although he was an unused member of the squad for the World Cup finals in 2006.
The former Spurs and Wigan man, who moved to Wearside this summer, is concentrating on producing his best form for the Black Cats, but knows that if he is playing well, he has a chance of forcing his way back into the France set-up.
