Keane's team are finding their feet

By Stuart Rayner on Oct 6, 08 09:00 AM in Journalists

ROY Keane hopes Sunderland have finally found their feet against the Premier League's big guns after taking points off one of the top four for the first time under his management.

Although the Black Cats could have recorded his first win against the Champions League giants were it not for Cesc Fabregas' 93rd-minute equaliser, Keane could only find positives from the 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

"I hope it is a breakthrough," he said. "We got close to Liverpool in August but lost 1-0 and the signs were decent.

"Last year Arsenal beat us 3-2 but it could have been 5-0 after 20 minutes. We got back into it and lost to a late goal and it is cutting them out.
