Kieran Richardson is making up for lost time
KIERAN RICHARDSON wants to make up for lost time this season after his first year on Wearside was wrecked by injury.
The Sunderland midfielder suffered a persistent back problem that restricted his appearances last term, and which affected his form when he did pull on a red-and-white shirt.
But the £5.5m buy from Manchester United has started every Premier League game this season for the Black Cats, and has looked much more like his old self - although he insists he can still get better.
