Roy Keane seeks to end 28-year derby hoodoo

ROY KEANE says it is about time Sunderland put an end to their 28 years of Wear-Tyne derby hurt.

That is how long the Black Cats have had to wait for a win over fierce rivals Newcastle on home territory.

With the Magpies due at the Stadium of Light on Saturday lunchtime, Keane has told his troops it is about time they rewrote the history books.

He said: "This is a big game for the club, we all know that.
