Jones hoping for partnership with Cisse
KENWYNE JONES is hoping for great things from his partnership with Djibril Cisse.
Sunderland's first-choice strikers were paired together from the start for the first time in the Premier League at Blackburn on Saturday.
They responded by scoring the goals which gave the Black Cats their 2-1 victory at Ewood Park.
Christopher Samba put Rovers ahead in first-half injury-time, but Jones netted just after the interval and Cisse scored his fifth goal of the season 19 minutes from time to earn their first win in five games.
