Ricky Sbragia set to ditch Sunderland's front pair

SUNDERLAND will ditch the misfiring partnership of Kenwyne Jones and Djibril Cisse for the crucial road trips that could decide their Premier League fate.

Black Cats boss Ricky Sbragia is planning to switch to a 4-5-1 system and use one of the pair - most likely Jones - up front on his own for the games at Bolton this Saturday and at Portsmouth a week on Monday.

Jones and Cisse have netted 21 goals between them this season, but as a pairing they have never hit it off.
