Steve Bruce searching for special SAFC stars
STEVE BRUCE will launch a summer search for the 'special' kind of player he believes Sunderland need.
The new Black Cats boss believes only certain players can handle the pressure of playing for a club the size of the Wearsiders and in front of 40,000-plus crowds every week.
Bruce is determined to rebuild the squad he has inherited and transform Sunderland from relegation strugglers into a Premier League force.
However, he knows it will take time, and is understandably cautious about raising expectation levels on Wearside too high too soon.
