Sunderland crashed out of the FA Cup at the hands of relegation rivals Wigan Athletic this afternoon.
The Black Cats turned in a shocking display as they were easily beaten at the Stadium of Light, with boss Roy Keane admitting he was 'ashamed' of his side's performance.
Wigan went in front in the 19th minute when they won a free-kick out on the right flank, midway inside the Sunderland half.
Josip Skoko floated the ball into the box and Paul Scharner took advantage of poor marking and indecision from Nyron Nosworthy and Paul McShane to nod home unchallenged from six yards out.
